Vajrayogini’s Yoga Of Sleeping (Art Print) – Tilly Campbell-Allen
This piece is a visualization of Vajrayogini’s ‘generation stage of sleeping’ where every night we imagine our bedroom as a sacred space. We sleep on our right hand side, if possible facing west and inviting the Dakinis, our head to the north and the soles of our feet facing south, subduing death, on an imagined cool sun cushion within an eight petaled lotus with our head on the lap of our root Guru ( visualized as Buddha Vajradhara…)
The lotus sits on a Lion throne held up by 8 snow lions, which is manifested within the star tetrahedron of Vajrayogini (a primordial Buddha in female form) known as the ‘Phenomenal source’ with four bliss swirls.
As we sleep and as we awake, we fully appreciate our self as the divine Vajrayogini, and this is how we address our day.
