Soyolmaa Davaakhuu:  New Work and US Bay Area Talk and Exhibits

The exceptionally talented and sublime Mongolian artist Soyolmaa Davaakhuu is traveling to the US in September and October for a series of talks and exhibits at UC Berkeley with a following exhibit at the Mongolian Association of San Francisco.  The exhibits will feature a series of new works by this uniquely inspired Buddhist visionary artist, to follow shortly thereafter here at Dakini As Art.   Twelve of these upcoming works are previewed here below.

First talk and exhibit:

Buddhist Revelations in Mongolian Contemporary Art: Artist Soyolmaa Davaakhuu in Conversation with Uranchimeg Tsultem

September 28th, 2017, 1-3pm, 180 Doe Library, UC Berkeley

The talk is on Modern Buddhist Art and Soyolmaa’s own particular art. An exhibit of Soyolmaa’s art at UC Berkeley will run from September 28 – 30th following the opening talk.  There will be a series of talks by various scholars on Mongolian Buddhism concurrent on these days at the Doe Library, UC Berkeley.

October 1 – 9, 2017, at the Mongolian Association of SF
650 University Ave, Suite 6, Berkeley CA.
