Red Tara (Art Print) – Flera Birmane
$100.00 – $625.00
Tara of overpowering activity
The Buddha Amitabha, the principal Buddha of the Padma family, ornaments Arya Tara’s head. To the right side is Guru Rinpoche and to the left side, Drikung Osel Dorje. Red Tara has one face, four arms. She is slightly smiling with a trace of wrathfulness. She is graceful and has a look of sixteen years old.
In the right hand of the rear pair of hands, she holds a lotus hook raised in the space. The left hand, in protection mudra, holds a red lotus flower at her heart center. In the front hands, she holds a red lotus bow and hook fully stretched.
Her right leg is stretched out and the left leg slightly retracted.
She is the embodiment of the unity of emptiness and compassion.
She has three eyes. She is adorned with silk clothes, bone ornaments, precious jewels and a garland of red lotus flowers. Her shiny black hair flows freely down her back.
Below Red Tara is the Drikung Dharma protector Achi Chokyi Drolma.
