Drikung Kagyu Refuge Tree (Art Print) – Flera Birmane

Refuge practice is the essence of all other practices. It has inconceivable beneficial effects and, through it, one can achieve the fearless state.

In the space in front of me is a lion throne on which are lotus and sun and moon disk seats, in the center of which sits my kind root lama in the form of Vajradhara, surrounded by the lineage lamas. In front of the lion throne is the yidam Chakrasamvara, the male and female aspects in union. At the right side of the throne are the buddhas of the three times, possessing the major and minor marks, together with the thousand buddhas of this fortunate eon. Behind the throne is Prajnaparamita to the left of the throne is the assembly of the compassionate bodhisattvas, completely surrounded by the sanghas of the three yanas. Around the throne are the Dharma protectors, an ocean of guardians gathered like clouds.

Original size: 81 x 62 cm
Original Medium: Natural stone colors, gold on canvas.

All of Flera’s fine art prints print on Canson Infinity Rag, a 100% archival fine art cotton watercolor paper.

Dance With Dakinis – Kali Levitov

This painting came about from a commission for a book called “Dance with Dakinis” by Dena Merrium. This author touched my heart and soul with her empowering story of women in the Bon tradition and how to carry on and evolve a lineage. The painting captures the image of a rainbow Dakini from the lake who was a guide to them, the two sisters learning to carry on their tradition, and the lineage holders before them. In this painting my prayer is that we all remember how to carry on the essence of what is handed down to us with the flexibility that keeps it truly alive.

Size: 21″ x 24″ (53 x 60cm).
